With a double bachelor’s degree in art history and business from Columbia University and the American University of Paris, two master’s degrees from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and a PhD in art history, MAD’s founder Marouchka Guedj brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. Her background in art history provides a deep appreciation and understanding of art, while her expertise in acquiring collections ensures she understands exactly what people need. Art is deeply personal and must resonate with its surroundings to be truly effective. It requires expertise to ensure it fits seamlessly into a space, enhancing the environment rather than merely occupying it. This philosophy naturally transitions into the world of hospitality.
